Unlike made-to-measure shops that adjust pre-existing patterns, our bespoke process starts with a blank sheet of brown paper. Your Master Tailor hand-draws a pattern created from scratch based on over 30 individual measurements, your natural posture, shoulder slope, and the way you move. This pattern is yours alone -permanently archived for future orders.
Ultralight Making -Engineered for Malaysia
Traditional full-canvas suits were designed for European winters. In Malaysia’s tropical climate, wearing such a suit can feel oppressively heavy and hot. Our proprietary Ultralight Making technique solves this problem.
Using specialised ultra-light internal materials and a unique construction process developed by Grand Master Desmond Loi, we deliver the shape, structure, and drape of a traditional full-canvas suit in a garment that feels impossibly light and breathable. The result is a suit you can wear all day -from the boardroom to an evening dinner -without discomfort.
Full Canvas Construction
Every LANWIN suit uses full canvas construction -the hallmark of true bespoke tailoring. The horsehair canvas inside the jacket is hand-stitched, allowing the suit to breathe, move, and gradually mould to your body over time.
We never use fused (glued) construction. While cheaper, fused suits create a stiff appearance that degrades with dry cleaning. Full canvas is the only construction method worthy of the LANWIN name.
